The Holy Spirit does not teach mythology, legends or folklore, but the Truth for He is the Truth. The apostles used legends and folklore in order to connect with the Greek mind and sow the Seed of Truth in them.
As we redeem the lost spaces in our mind; squeeze out from our brains these useless occupiers; and fill the space with the true knowledge of God we then conform to the image of His firstborn. There is no other way.
Holy Spirit is logical and very wise, to put it simply. This wisdom is for us, if we are ready to forsake the old foolishness and anything outdated.
